Canadian Government Scholarship Programs

The Government of Canada offers yearly scholarship programs for Latin American and Caribbean students wishing to study or conduct research at a Canadian institution. Funded by Global Affairs Canada, these scholarships are for short-term undergraduate and graduate studies.

Each year, the Université de Montréal is among Canadian universities receiving the highest number of fellows. These scholarship programs provide a unique opportunity for students, as well as UdeM professors who wish to host graduate students, to carry out research and strengthen links with Latin American and Caribbean universities.
