The number of students who can apply to the School of Architecture was determined beforehand with its partners. Only students from universities that are partners with the School of Architecture can apply (university-wide agreements are not accepted).

Only applications for the full academic year (September to April) will be considered. Applicants to programs in architecture must submit a portfolio. The portfolio will be requested through the Student Centre portal within a few days after the submission of the application.

Bachelor in Architecture
The School accepts a limited number of students who wish to pursue the third year of the Bachelor’s degree of Architecture.

Master in Architecture
If the agreement between the School of Architecture and the partner university allows graduate program exchanges (master’s), students must have completed at least 4 years of studies at their home university.

Please note that the number of places at the master level is very limited.

The number of students who can apply to the School of Design was determined beforehand with its partners. Only students from universities that are partners with the School of Design can apply (university-wide agreements are not accepted).

Interior Design programs are open only in the Fall term.

Applicants to programs in interior design must submit a portfolio. The portfolio will be requested through the Student Centre portal within a few days after the submission of the application.

Bachelor level
Limited enrollment in courses taking place in workshops and labs: APA1401, APA1410, APA2410, APA2430, APA3410, APA3430, APA1330 et APA3310.

Master level
Master level students must have completed at least one semester of their master’s program before beginning the exchange. They must enroll to a minimum of 9 credits per term. 

Limited enrollment in courses taking place in workshops and labs: APA6506, APA6507, APA6512, APA6508, APA6519, APA6509, APA6520, APA6510, APA6524, APA6517 et APA6526.

Program in Landscape Architecture
Applicants to the program in landscape architecture must submit a portfolio. The portfolio will be requested through the Student Centre portal within a few days after the submission of the application.

Enrollment in complementary courses must follow academic pathway.

Limited enrollment: only one workshop per student per semester.

The course APA6014, special activities and the internship are not open to exhange students.

Exchange students must pay the course fees related to field visits, manufacturing workshops or computer science labs.

Required Average
Due to the limited number of places of the exchange program, only applications with an overall average above 14/20 or 70% will be considered.

Urban Planning

• Bachelor level workshop courses are closed to exchange students.
• Students can only apply for one term (some exceptions).
• Master level students must have completed at least one semester of their master’s program before beginning the exchange.
• Only a limited number of students are accepted for the Master in Urban Planning with limited access to workshop courses.
